Hoo:Lumes

Sophia was the lead singer, guitarist and co-songwriter in Hoo:Lumes. The band was based in Asheville NC, and featured Drew Sencabaugh (guitar, drums) and Collin Demos (bass, banjo). Hoo:Lumes crafted an extensive repertoire of original music 2013-2020. Their debut EP Etchings of Birds Swimming in Song was released in May of 2019. The band was known for magnetic performances that evoked immediacy with their soulful, folk-tinged indie rock. Dynamic, their songs invited the listener to experience tender intimacy and swell with ecstatic fervor in the span of a breath. The band released two EP’s Wilton and Relic in 2020 and a single Cascade before transitioning the project to Wild Array.

Moon CHOIR

Founded and directed by Sophia Corinne in January of 2020, Moon Choir is a vocal ensemble of voices that embrace the feminine. The group was created as a platform for creativity, strengthening community and workshopping original music composed by Sophia. The choir’s repertoire is inspired by a wide range of influences from the songwriting of the folk trio Mountain Man, to the experimental vocal techniques of Roomful of Teeth and the ethereal arrangements of the Inuit Choir featured on Bjork’s album Vespertine.

Tauri Moon

Tauri Moon is a collaborative musical project between three taurus ladies. Sophia sings, plays guitar and writes for the project, along with Kayla Zuskin (of Lavender Blue) and Danielle Eden Hill who also plays cello.
